I don’t read Elm but it’s probably not managing to process 24B cases in under a second ;) That suggests a bug somewhere.
If Elm has lazy evaluation like Haskell

i would tend to agree, in fact before i first ran it timing out or infinite loop was my fear.
I changed the code a little to include some positive constraints then forced house 2 to be blue and it now finds the water house, so im getting somewhere
