It’s annoying Apple doesn’t want to upgrade software from 2008, but they don’t want to be bound by the current GPL.
They’re also still shipping Python 2.7.
Actually, they finally stopped the Python nonsense in Monterey, and supposedly will be removing bash sometime in the next few releases of the OS as well.
Doesn’t keep me from raising my fist to the sky and cursing Apple a bit though.
