Adding difficulties

I just noticed that the Prolog track’s exercises didn’t have difficulties assigned to them (well, technically, they were all 1, but you get the idea). As such, I’ve used the data on the build page to estimate the difficulties, combined with my own experience solving these exercises. This has resulted in this PR: Change difficulties by ErikSchierboom · Pull Request #464 · exercism/prolog · GitHub

If anyone finds things they think can be improved, please let me know.

I very curious how you mapped the build page stats into difficulties.

Well, it’s a flawed statistic but I mostly looked at completion percentage. If it was very high, then it is likely an easy exercise. Low percentages are trickier, as they could also be caused by a weird ordering of the exercises or unclear instructions (for Prolog purposes that is). But i then combined that with looking at my solution to that exercise to see if my feelings and the percentage match up. And I always let my feelings determine the actual difficulty. The percentage was sort of an initial ordering

I have somewhat high hopes that this will make the prolog track a lot better for students. Previously they could be dropped into a very very tough exercise from the start. Which is especially hard for Prolog

I’m going to do the same thing for the Arturo track (attn @BNAndras).

This would be a cool maintainer feature: if we could see, for each exercise, a bar chart or histogram of all of its difficulties.
