CLI is not downloading correctly

Using linux mint cinnamon and trying to download the CLI 86_64x version but cant get it to run exercism after i move it to PATH. Please help.

Did you get an error message? Can you post it here?

Also, please post the output of the following two commands:

file $(which exercism)
uname -a

The first one examines the exercism binary,
the second one prints information about your system.

Please show the specific commands you used from downloading through deploying. I wonder if the exercism binary has the execute bits set.
