I have left it closed, and commented the reason I have not reopened it.
Because the wording comes from Problem Specifications, and that is intended for the 70+ language tracks that we have (or will have), the “null/nil” wording should cover all the languages, at least in general. The reader should interpret the instructions in terms of the language they are practicing.
So, for this reason, I do not think this change is warranted, as it will end up likely coming back in when things are updated from Problem Specifications, and I do not believe it warrants clarification in an appends file, either.
