GitHub Contributions Not Reflected in Exercism Reputation Points

Hi everyone,

I’m facing an issue where my contributions via GitHub aren’t being reflected in my Exercism reputation points.

Here’s the situation:

  • I initially added my GitHub handle incorrectly as @jagdish-15 (with the @ symbol) instead of just jagdish-15, not realizing the @ shouldn’t be there.
  • After my PR was accepted, I realized the mistake, removed the @, and updated my GitHub handle to jagdish-15 in my Exercism settings.
  • I even tried removing and re-adding my GitHub handle, as well as temporarily changing my Exercism handle to match GitHub’s, but it still doesn’t show up in my contributions or impact my reputation points.

Has anyone else experienced this? Any advice on how to get the contributions recognized would be greatly appreciated!

@iHiD fixed everything when I was in a similar situation.

I think the “social accounts” github handle under
https://exercism.org/settings
isn’t relevant, only the (not displayed) github handle used in
https://exercism.org/settings/integrations
