I am trying to update my Github repository with my solutions. It doesn’t seem to work. Where can I find an error log so I can debug it.
The error logs would be on the Exercism server and private to avoid leaking private data.
If you provide your Exercism username, what exactly you did and your sync settings, Jeremy might be able to figure out what’s going on.
The userid is stewartm0205. What I wanted was to update by Github repository stewartm0205/Exercism with my solutions. I tried the update all and the update track. Neither function worked. I had a partial repository so I am worried that the current directory structure might be wrong. Could the Github Syncer be modified to email its log to the user’s email?
You could try creating an empty repo and syncing to that. I’ve had good luck with that in the past.
That’s something only @iHiD can answer but I suspect the answer will be no. Generally website don’t expose or email out backend logs ![]()
