I’m new to Exercism and I’ve been looking through these tasks to contribute to the community but when I go to the repository I see the following message:

The post is from over a year ago, is it still valid or can contributions be made?

The process is that discussions about proposed changes should start here on the forum before new issues or PRs are created in GitHub.
