I know some basics of Lua so I tried python but it is hard for me to complete the second exercise because not knowing what the functions do, only variables

Who is doing what now?

Exercism has a bootcamp that will teach you all the fundamentals of programming. The Python track has a learning mode but there’s an assumption that you can use the starter function code to fill out a function.

I check some posts that they are working on a separate website for new beginners. I feel like doing code academy and then come back. I’m just a kid

Who is “they”? If “they” is Exercism, it’s the bootcamp which is already live. If “they” is not Exercism … then yes, I’m sure someone out there on the internet is working on something :laughing:
