I don’t think my discord roles were updated, but I’m new to discord.
I was expecting to see the #insiders and #maintaining channels.
You may need to wait a couple of weeks since Jeremy is taking a break.
Try logging out of Discord or leaving and rejoining the server.
I logged out and then logged back in but no joy.
If I leave and rejoin will I lose my settings or anything?
Leave what? If you leave and rejoin the Discord server, at most you’ll lose your channel/notification settings. Did you try unlinking and re-linking on the Integrations page? Exercism
Yes. Nothing changed after I did.
I left the server and rejoined. Still nothing.

Try which?:
- Unlinking/relinking
- Logging out/logging in
- Leaving/rejoining
I’ve manually ran the code to update your discord roles. I don’t know what you need to do to re-apply that in Discord. I meant just going to Discord and check if the permissions were different
I did all of the above with no perceived change.
Maybe I’m looking for the wrong things?

Not really. I’m not much on discord and as I’m officially no longer employed at Exercism, I don’t have much time

I never chose the account ingydotnet_21552.
It’s just what I see in my discord profile:
You now have the insiders roles. Not sure why you don’t get the maintainers role, but I don’t have the time to debug that.
And I manually updated your discord UID in the DB.
