In-line <code> is rendered too tall

In the «Instructions» tab on the mentoring session page in-line <code> is too tall:

I suspect it has always been too tall (everywhere), but I think recently it has become worse (on this page specifically).

I don’t think an in-line <code> tag should increase the line height, at all.
