Let's remove the product placement

Hi everybody :)

I love this site, but I have to admit, it is really bugging me a lot to get constantly confronted with Apple product placement here. I’m talking about the small images that show up in a lot of places on this site (see end of post). I don’t really see a valid reason why we should promote specific vendors here. Would it be fine if I fixed the images?

I would have created a PR, but the guidelines say I should post here first. If I do the work of removing the Apple logos, would you accept the related PR in exercism/website?

PRs to that type of content is generally not accepted without prior approval from Jeremy. I’m guessing Jeremy used the Apple image because it’s right recognized, but I can’t say for certain.

@iHiD When you have the time, could you please tell us your opinion. I don’t expect integrating my PR would take much time on your side.

It will likely be a while before he responds giving the current work, but I do think he’ll be open to your suggestion.
