I am a fresher full stack developer. I don’t have experience so it’s difficult for me to get a job and freelance work too.
Looking for experienced developer who can help me gain some experience and in return that person will have ease.
I am a developer for quite a long time but I am in the same boat I need real projects to get back in the groove.
What I did is I asked on Mastodon if any Free Software projects are looking for a developer. So far I started contributing a little bit on one project. Tested some stuff out for them and wrote a ticket.
You have a bachelors degree, that’s a good basis. You also have some reference projects. One problem with the e-commerce example project: I tried the app and it was not online anymore. Make sure they are either all running or you have some other way to demonstrate their quality.
Of course a company will be looking for projects you did for customers, however at entry level positions what you have is fine.
Make sure you proof read a few times through your CV. I would switch “clear code” with “clean code” as that is the term I am familiar with.
I am surprised that there is nothing in your CV about your bachelors thesis. I would be interested if there where synergies with my business when I am looking for a new hire.
If any of your projects have unit tests, integration test, I would be interested in that, too.
I wasn’t involved in hiring for years but still hope some of my feedback is useful to you.
