The Pyret dev team released a major update to the language. A significant change is that the official VSCode extension for Pyret includes a full interactive visual editor similar to the one used on code.pyret.org. That’ll improve the offline experience for students here. I anticipate working on updating this track in the upcoming weeks after my Arturo track updates and adding more exercises as well.

The Arturo track upgrades are complete so I’ll start working on this. I’ll want to bump pyret-npm to use the newer contexts (Pyret talk for namespaces), but that’ll entail additional runtime dependencies for the test runner image. Some of those are heavy so some careful tinkering will be required to minimize the impact.
