About MoonScript
MoonScript is a dynamic scripting language that compiles into Lua.
It gives you the power of one of the fastest scripting languages combined with a rich set of features.
Just a few of the interesting features include:
- builtin syntax for OO programming (Lua OO syntax is quite clunky),
- list comprehensions,
- almost all parentheses can be omitted.
The syntax of MoonScript has been heavily inspired by the syntax of CoffeeScript: MoonScript is CoffeeScript for Lua.
