No idea about the bash exercises

I wanted to learn the bash here. first tutorial “hello world” was easy. but next one was not solvable for someone who wants to learn bash. No explanation or tutorial, just a page full of comments - no idea what to do.

Correct. The syllabus is still under development so the bash track doesn’t teach you the language.

If you want to learn bash, I would highly recommend the Wooledge Guide.

But if you want to read the syllabus documents (like a tutorial), start here: Bash concept documents

For small tasks like renaming files, running commands, or piping text, Bash works really well. However, when a script grows beyond about 50 lines and begins to involve validation, parsing, or business logic—as is common in many exercises—the Bash script tends to become verbose and difficult to read. Since many exercises aren’t Bash-specific, you might find tasks much easier in other languages like Python, whereas Bash can be quite challenging. Don’t be discouraged if the exercise feels too difficult; it’s just inherently hard.

IMO this is a misconception. bash programs can be structured with functions, well laid-out and commented, just like other languages.
