I believe review reputation is only awarded on merged PRs.

@Kiran1689 – please don’t review or comment on PRs on the Python track unless you are a member of the maintainer team, have been asked directly for your review, are involved in the work of the PR, or see an egregious error in the content. Otherwise, it can create noise and confusion.
