I’ve finished an exercise and I’ve shared it with a friend so that he can review it; so far, so good! But when I go the exercise’s Code Review tab, I unfortunately can’t see my friend’s review in the list even though the Code Review tab’s badge (aka number) shows that there are 3 reviews (see screenshot below).
I’ve had this happen before when I had two mentors accept a mentoring request invite at the same time. The system isn’t really intended in my experience to have a student do multiple mentoring sessions at the same time. It’s confusing for mentors because they only see your code and any discussion with them. So if you’re changing your code because mentor B said something, mentor A sees the change but not the context. Also, this means you have two mentoring discussions to keep straight as well.
If you want to access the mentoring session not listed, I was able to follow the session links from the emails Exercism sends when a mentor responds inside a discussion.

It’s a shame for both sides, mentors and mentees. Hopefully, it will be changed.
