The “Contributions > Maintaining” section of public profiles seem to have an error for opened issues, they say “You opened” instead of “Opened” on my profile even when using private browsing mode:

I would expect it to line up with the “Contributed to …” and “Created …” items on the “Building” tab.
Also, there seems to be a discrepancy between the “Building” number when logged in vs when using private browsing. One says “29” and has 29 entries, while the other is missing the more recent contributions and only says “22”.
I see 29 entries on your profile while logged in or out.
As for the opened issues, you don’t get rep for issues by default like you do for PRs. The maintainer explicitly must assign you rep on an issue per Reputation | Exercism's Docs. So I think this is a fairly rare situation and might be why it was overlooked in the first place. Since it’s part of the website code, the staff should be the ones to take a closer look.

I suppose it’s likely that the 29 vs 22 issue is due to a browser bug (maybe getting an outdated version of the page from the cache in private browsing mode).
It’s not exactly a browser bug. The website plays out a less frequently updated version of the pages when no cookie at all is sent. I regularly clear my cookies store and e.g. get different student numbers on the main page before / after reloading.
