Any audiobook recommendations? I’m getting towards the end of Dennis E. Taylor’s Bobiverse sci-fi series (Ray Porter is a legend) as well as The Pragmatic Programmer 20th anniversary edition.
I particularly enjoyed Taylor’s first book (We are Bob), but I felt that the pacing dropped off as the series went on. Still good though. A trilogy that I also enjoyed is the Fear the Sky series by Stephen Moss. Also, if I remember the book title correctly, Andy Weir’s Project Hail Mary is highly entertaining.
Audiobooks that I really enjoyed for their narration and pace are:
-
Rivers of London: Kobna Holdbrook-Smith is really amazing with all the voices and attitudes. Ben Aaronovitch weaves a really interesting universe.
-
Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir is a great read for anyone with an interest in science and hard science-fiction. Ray Porter also has a good voice for long trips.
I also need more audio material. I will have finished “Heaven’s River” in a couple of days.
