I believe the additional test-case for multi-byte utf-8 sequences is no longer needed as a similar test-case has been added ?
Yeah, it could be dropped. But it doesn’t hurt in any way. There’s a lot of stale tests (and the instruction.append files) that need to be reviewed and tidied. It’s on my todo list
