Testing error. gem securerandom

I imagine this is a problem with my setup for Exercism. macOS. ruby 3.4.1.

/.rubies/ruby-3.4.1/lib/ruby/site_ruby/3.4.0/rubygems/specification.rb:2232:in 'Gem::Specification#check_version_conflict': **can't activate securerandom-0.3.2**, **already activated securerandom-0.4.1** (Gem::LoadError)

I’ve removed and reinstalled securerandom. Must be dependency of something, but it’s beyond me. I created a Gemfile and Gemfile.lock:.

Blockquote
GEM
remote: https://rubygems.org/
specs:
securerandom (0.4.1)

PLATFORMS
arm64-darwin-24
ruby

DEPENDENCIES
securerandom

RUBY VERSION
ruby 3.4.1p0

BUNDLED WITH
2.7.2

Same error with or without gem securerandom.

I hope this isn’t a repost. I thought I’d posted this already.

Did you see the response on the Discord thread you created?

@SleeplessByte wrote,

This happens when there is a newer version of a system gem (on mac for example). You can try bundle exec <command-you-try-to-run> to force the versions from the lock.

No. I knew I had posted it, but got mixed up with this forum and Discord (which I don’t use much).

Which is best place, here or Discord?

As I posted there:

> `➜ bundle exec ruby lasagna/lasagna_test.rb
> /Users/gscar/.rubies/ruby-3.4.1/lib/ruby/3.4.0/bundled_gems.rb:82:in 'Kernel.require': cannot load such file -- minitest/autorun (LoadError)
>         from /Users/gscar/.rubies/ruby-3.4.1/lib/ruby/3.4.0/bundled_gems.rb:82:in 'block (2 levels) in Kernel#replace_require'
>         from lasagna/lasagna_test.rb:1:in '<main>'`

Not getting how to use Blockquote? Fixed, but why is there a Blockquote icon that doesn’t work, i.e, it sort of works but leaves in word ‘Blockquote’

Either is fine (so long as you’re checking it) but cross posting (duplicate posts for the same topic) is generally discouraged.
