@programmernum1 Did you follow the Learning path on the “Learn” page or use one of the lists on “Overview” or “Practice” pages?
Only the “Learn” page presents lessons in an order suitable for learning the language as a beginner. The other pages present a mix to challenge yourself after you followed the Learning path.
@programmernum1 Exercism’s language tracks aren’t designed for total beginners, so if the jump was too hard, you’re probably not quite ready for them yet.
Instead, check out Exercism’s Bootcamp to teach you to code from scratch.
