Hi!
I have three open PRs on the Scala track and would appreciate a review:
- #884 — Run the exercise tests in a single sbt session (fixes #842).
bin/testcurrently starts a fresh sbt shell per exercise, ~20 minutes in CI, and doesn’t work on macOS. Every exercise becomes a subproject, so all of them are tested in one session. This is the one I’d most like eyes on — #843 (test generators) is blocked on it, and it touches the rootbuild.sbt. - #883 — Bump scala-parser-combinators from 2.1.0 to 2.4.0. Aligns five exercises with the version the test runner actually provides.
- #886 — Sync say’s test suite with the canonical data (closes #855). Adds the four missing canonical cases; verified against the test runner image.
Context for the queue: the test runner is already on Scala 3.9.0 LTS / JDK 25 (merged and deployed), so solutions are compiled with 3.9 while the track’s build.sbt files still say 3.4.2. Moving the track over is #882, and I’d rather land #884 · Run the exercise tests in a… first than re-verify 102 exercises twice.
Thanks!
