Turning on learning mode for AWK, even with a small syllabus

There are only 2 concept exercises completed in AWK, and one other concept doc written without an exercise.

Should be put some effort into getting the syllabus built out, but turn it on in the meantime so at least the Fundamentals and Numbers&Strings are available?

Not my decision, but I’d vote for this. It adds value to the track, while giving you feedback and motivation.

Unfortunately, I don’t know AWK well enough to help, though I do know it well enough to understand my limitations!

To be honest, if you understand the basic pattern action setup and can do basic string operations, you can get really far with awk. I’ll take a look at the existing concepts but I don’t think very much is needed to make it useful.

The fundamentals concept has a lot of parts in it. It might be possible to split that into multiple concepts if you wanted, but I think it’s enough to open it up.

For the first concept in the tree, I try to only include essential stuff to get started with the lang. For AWK Fundamentals I suppose the " Builtin variables that convey information" section can be postponed to another concept.

Any such splitting is certainly not required to make the concepts available

@kotp @rabestro Did you want to comment on the PR?

Just wanted to add that I thought the new learning lessons were very clearly written. Keep up the great work.

IIRC, that was also my main review comment.
