Unable to congiure the CLI

Hey there,

trying to download and work the exercises on my local machine.

Unable to configure the CLI, typing in the following command:

exercism configure --token=YOUR_TOKEN ```

with my own token from settings does not work. Returns the following message: 

rror: 

    Welcome to Exercism!

    To get started, you need to configure the tool with your API token.
    Find your token at

        https://exercism.org/my/settings

    Then run the configure command:

        exercism configure --token=YOUR_TOKEN

I've tried refreshing my token multiple times. Still no luck.

  • Did you have any extra spaces in there?
  • What operating system do you have?
  • What does exercism version show?

Are you using the literal string “YOUR_TOKEN”, or are you substituting your actual user token copied from the settings page?
