If you’d like to help translate Exercism to Simplified Chinese please add a comment here containing the following:

  • Introducing yourself (your name, where you live, your coding experience, any other personal information you want to share, etc)
  • Your level of fluency in Simplified Chinese
  • Your level of fluency in English

Once three people have committed, we’ll bootstrap this language for you.

Hi everyone! My name is Bella, and I’m interested in helping translate Exercism into Simplified Chinese.

  • Chinese proficiency: Native Simplified Chinese speaker.
  • English proficiency: I’m still learning English, but I’m actively working to improve my skills.
  • Programming experience: I’ve been learning Python and working through coding exercises on Exercism.

I’d be happy to contribute to making Exercism more accessible to Simplified Chinese speakers. I noticed that this thread was started on September 26, and I’d like to check whether the Simplified Chinese translation project is still looking for contributors.

Welcome @Aizy-Core, thank you for offering to help! A native Simplified Chinese speaker working through Exercism’s own exercises is exactly the kind of feedback we need.

Simplified Chinese is already live on exercism.org, so there’s no need to wait for more volunteers. The pinned glossary thread is here: [Simplified Chinese Review] Glossary, where product terms are discussed and agreed. If you spot anything on the live site that reads wrong or unnatural, please let us know, either here or on that thread, and we’ll get it fixed.
