Hi everyone,
I am currently working through some algorithmic exercises on Exercism and testing out automated script runners to benchmark local code execution times. Whenever I keep an external dynamic web utility tab open here to process secondary test scripts while simultaneously solving coding exercises and running tests on Exercism, my browser starts lagging severely and stops responding.
The browser process memory usage spikes dramatically, and eventually the entire window locks up during heavy client-side JavaScript execution.
I am also seeing a couple of related interface and performance glitches while working through exercise tracks. Switching between active browser tabs causes the Exercism in-browser code editor to lose cursor focus, which occasionally resets unposted code snippets or requires a full page refresh to regain typing focus. Furthermore, mobile WebKit browsers seem to experience touch input delays when navigating track modules and test output panels while secondary script execution tabs remain active in the background.
Has anyone else noticed web browser tab freezes or JavaScript execution lags when running complex dynamic web applications alongside Exercism, and are there specific browser memory limits or hardware acceleration settings you would recommend tweaking to stabilize multi-tab development sessions?
