What FRP library is needed for FSharp Hangman?

In the description of F# Hangman, it states “You’ll need to install an FRP library for this, this will be described in the language/track specific files of the exercise.” However, scanning the files downloaded via the CLI, I see no mention of said library. Am I flat out missing the reference, or does the exercise documentation need to be updated? If no library is needed, then additional documentation about the exercise is needed. Often I can infer the design from tests, but not so here.

This description comes from a canonical reference common to all tracks. In practice, many tracks opted to not use FRP in this exercise, usually because this would be impractical.

This exercise is now deprecated in favor of save-the-cow, which does not have a similar reference to FRP.

Thank you for the response. If it is deprecated, does it need to be removed from the F# track?

This is at the discretion of the maintainers. Some tracks take longer than others to deprecate an exercise.

In this particular case, the structure of the exercise is the same and your solution could probably be copy-pasted directly in the substitute. The difference is only in the instructions.

Save the Cow hasn’t been added to the F# track
as far as I can see. Until that can be done, Hangman should remain available. Afterwards, we can probably deprecate Hangman since Save the Cow is a drop-in replacement and we don’t need two copies of the same exercise.

@ErikSchierboom, I can make a PR to add Save the Cow to F#.

Edit - I can do the same for C# as well too.
