Works in Pad but not in Exercism

I have just started with Uiua. I tried the Acronym exercise. I can get a solution to work in the pad but all tests fail in Exercism. Exactly what needs to be included in the Exercism editor to get the tests to work? An example would help.

Can you provide your code as text in a codeblock?

Also how are you testing the code locally? Are you using the Exercism test suite?

This is the code with an example using Uiua 18’s pad. ▽≠¯⌵⟜∘⟜∘"Annual General Meeting"
It returns AGM. I realize that ⟜∘⟜∘ needs to be replaced with . . in Uiua 14.

It returns AGM. I realize that ⟜∘⟜∘ needs to be replaced with . . in Uiua 14.

Exercism’s test runner is on 0.17.2, so ⟜∘⟜∘ is fine.

Running the code on the pad with Exercism’s test suite causes a faliure there too, so the issue isn’t with Exercism’s test runner.

If you want a hint:

Your current code fails on the test ⍤⤙≍ "GIMP" Acronym "GNU Image Manipulation Program", returning GNUIMP instead. Can you work out what in your code is making this happen?

Your current code is failing because it just takes all the capital letters in the phrase and returns them.

To get a passing solution, you might want to try splitting the string instead.

Exercism is now on 18.1, the latest stable version. The pad is always on the latest nightly, so it is normal that there are some inconsistencies. I am happy to update the track for the next version, but I might not see it in time. Best make an issue on GitHub or ping me here.
