Error while running F# exercise

While trying to submit the exercise found at https://exercism.org/tracks/fsharp/exercises/improved-password-checker/edit the following error is displayed

We received the following error when we ran your code:

/mnt/exercism-iteration/ImprovedPasswordChecker.fsproj : error NU1102: - Found 2 version(s) in /root/.nuget/packages/

This has persisted over a week by now

That message appears truncated but given there are no duplicate entries in ImprovedPasswordChecker.fsproj, I think NuGet is warning us a specific version of one of our project’s dependencies wasn’t found and telling us there are two other versions are available.

Does this occur on other exercises or just this one specifically? If it’s just this one, it might be the Newtownsoft.Json dependency referenced here: fsharp/exercises/concept/improved-password-checker/ImprovedPasswordChecker.fsproj at 7223dabf76aa105650ae6708c97be0a830480f48 · exercism/fsharp · GitHub. I don’t see that dependency preinstalled at fsharp-test-runner/Dockerfile at main · exercism/fsharp-test-runner · GitHub.

In local testing, I can confirm the Newtownsoft.Json dependency is both not used in the test suite & example solution and also not available on the test runner. So that’s the immediate culprit for the failure.

However, for @ErikSchierboom, it’s interesting that we got this fragment reported during the project restore. NuGet Error NU1102 | Microsoft Learn indicates the error message should identify the package as well. Are we discarding part of the error message somewhere?
