I suspect the bug is this: I probably have completed 5 Elixir exercises in February, but not Feb 2023.

Yeah, this is a deliberate decision. We plan to keep “Functional February” for the future, so we’re also back-propogating it to people who (inadvertently due to lack of ability to foresee the future) did this in previous years. The badge therefore isn’t strictly for #12in23 and I don’t think (unless we made a mistake) that it references #12in23
